Poem: Wanting

We want food
We scream injustice
We want the comfort
That food provides
Our tummies scream in hunger
We want to return
To our good old lives
In the world of illusions
We want
We want
We want
In our wanting
Our railing and screaming
We ignore the fact
That this is what we chose
And that most of the world
Does not get to choose
Lives forever wanting
