I’ve recently been looking for ways to keep one step ahead of anxiety. And looking at the tasks that I do to keep anxiety at bay (swimming, skiing, raking, cleaning, Taoist Tai Chi, meditation, trancing, reading, writing poetry, writing blog entries, etc.) I’ve developed a theory. Anxiety spreads my focus thin. I worry about everything. And that keeps my focus hazy and distorted. With tasks that require focus and concentration (look back at all of those activities and you’ll see what I mean) I combat the anxiety. I center my focus. And the reason it seems to be temporary is I only center my focus for the duration of the activity. The long-term solution I will highlight in a later post.
Spread Too Thin

I disagree with raking requiring focus, but otherwise agree with this one. No glaring mistakes.
