Conflict
Feelings overwhelm
Try to fight it
Try to rise above it
Try to be the better man
Yet something in me
Can’t help but be
Bitter and resentful
Mistrusting
I know these
Dark feelings must
Not gain control
Yet the battle
Is a hard one
