I am part And apart I am there And away I am involved And aloof I am joined And unjoined I remain alone In any group A marked man

I have a feeling I must bury deep Keep secret my love For the good of all The pain overwhelms But the knowledge that it is right Allows me to go on And hope to love again

It’s done It’s over She’s safe The relief is overwhelming The fear remains And grows in moments of doubt When I sleep When I lie waiting for rest The fear returns And the panic rises I do not sleep Those nights Of everlasting doubt

Broken Shattered Lost in the dark With a spark as guide Bit by bit I must rebuild Forge in fire Fill with light A stronger me

Do not stand by And watch the fight Hard to move Though it may be Stir your soul Raise your voice Choose a path And go

Layers of lies Stacks of deception How to divine truth From empty tales A sign of corruption Running rampant We must seek the light To know the true Be aware of Dark minds working So to fight them In the proper way And contain them e’ermore

I am blind Blinded by traits I am trying To prune away The work of my life Is finding the light By which to see

Straight back Head held high Walking to certain doom Face death with Calm acceptance Know that death Serves a purpose Even if not immediately clear Do not shy from Uncertain fate Fight even knowing You will lose Only by all fighting such Can darkness be combined

Loss of innocence Loss of youth Traditions broken Shelter swept away A sign of darkness Everywhere Our time is running out Sand in an hourglass Picking up speed as The tragedies accumulate We must spread our light To halt the dark attack Drive it back Contain it In a wall of light
