Poem: Social Mask

What do you like?
What do you love?
What makes your body heat
Your breath pant
Your loins stir?
What do you look for
In a mate?
What do you search for
In the heavens?
Whatever your answer
To these questions here
I will take them
I will forge them
Into the social mask
I wear for all to see.

Here starts a series of poems I wrote for a Women Studies assignment.
