Poem: Listening

It’s amazing
What you hear
If you only listen
Cries for help
Pleas for deliverance
From the forsaken
Of the world
If everyone would
Only listen
They may stop whining
Over what they don’t have
Help others get
Anything
If people would
Only listen
Feel the need to help
The world may be
A much better place
Indeed
With a bit of effort
It could be
A paradise
Like the Garden of Eden
