Poem: Death Of A Loved One

A hole in our hearts
A rip in the web
A gaping abyss
That will never be filled
The pain may fade
But the memory
Will always remain
The death of a loved one
Is tied into the fabric
Of existence
The memory of the bond
And the bright presence
Will always stay
We will carry it with us
In our hearts
Til the day the bell tolls
And the claim is made
On our spirits
We live now
For the hope to see
Once again
Those we have lost
