Poem: Presumption

How presumptuous is man
How arrogant, how prejudiced
The not-so civilized civilized man
The supposed good guy
Could it be that we are on the wrong side
Could it be that the shadow critics have validity
In their claims of injustice
Why is it that our view is right
And all others wrong
What gives us the right
To lead the world
When we have not yet mastered our
Own system of existence
