Poem: Oath

There exists a code to live by
A code to keep arrow straight and true
Honesty in thought and favour
Word and deed
Self-control in daily interactions
Modesty in thinking
Compassion to all
Giving benefit of doubt
Loyalty, honoring of vows
Commitment giving one hundred percent
Expecting no return
This is the path
I swear to take
This poem
Shall remind me
And all those who wish
To do the same
