Poem: State of Shame

She languishes in the shadows
Chained to the walls of the dungeons
Her cruel master fears her
Abuses her
She has the strength to fight
The potential to win
Her master enters the room
She knows what is coming
Knows she should resist
When her master`s lips touch hers
She yields
It starts slowly, softly, delicately
Grows rough
Until she is forcibly taken
All at once it is over
The rape is done
The master goes to leave the room
She screams, rants, raves
The master only laughs
As he slams the door
She hangs her head in shame
The master may abuse her
Defile her
She is an accessory
To her own abuse
She will not be free
`Til resist she does
Though there will be pain and struggle
She will gather friends and allies
She must lead the charge
She must reveal her strength
She must not give her sanction
