Poem: Pushing Through Fear

I’m pushing through the fear
Pushing through the haze
Walking on despite my fear
Striving as always to master my self
Shining my light through the dark
Though I be beaten
Battered and bruised
I don’t give up
I don’t give in
I walk my own path
Forever apart
I struggle on through pain
I’ve come too far
To fall down now
I’ll keep moving
Let love lead the way
Trust in my heart
To guide me true
