Poem: When I Meet God

When I meet God
I will not bow my head in shame
Come forth bowing and scraping
Singing false praises
Muttering pretty nothings
When I meet God
I will come with head held high
Baring heart and soul
I will speak all that
Is in my heart to say
On the day that I meet God
My honesty shall know no bounds
I will take what comes
I shall not betray my soul
