Spin me around
Break my backbone
Undermine the ground
That I’m standing on
Crack jokes at my expense
Mock me and scorn me
Constantly examine me
Aggressively question me
But I warn you now
I’m not as weak
As you seem to think
I’m not the fool
That you think I am
I’m stronger than you know
Wiser than you see
My strength and my wisdom
Doesn’t meet your definition
Yet that doesn’t mean
It ceases to be
