Poem: Frozen Heart

Cold, cold, cold
Winter winds blow
Snow swirls
White wet cold coats all
The chill outside
Pales against
The chill inside
My heart is frozen
Colored blue
And filled with frost-bitten pain
As I face the world alone
I long for someone
To share my demons with
To remind me not all is struggle
To provide the light to banish darkness
And the warm love to melt
My frozen heart
