I am a many-headed beast
I am relentless and insidious
I exist within the depths of your mind
I am all your hidden fears—
I make your heart beat
And passions rise
I make you scream and cry
I am a monster, known as anxiety
Yet I can be defeated
When one has hope
When one has love
I am powerless
But I do remain
Always lurking
Always waiting
For hope and love to fade
My name is Devin Hogg. I was born and raised in Carnarvon, Ontario, Canada. I moved to Guelph, Ontario, Canada in 2009 for university and lived here ever since. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching TV and movies, going on long walks, swimming, and practicing Chen style Tai Chi.
