Poem: If Wishes Came True

If wishes came true
Whenever I wished them
The world would have peace
Everybody would be immortal
The questions would be answered
And you would love me
Wishes don’t come true
Whenever I wish them
Yet I wish for these things
They give me focus
They give me hope
Perhaps one day
They will come true
