Poem: Balanced

I have walked many roads
In my life thus far.
I have taken
The road less traveled
And forged my own path
Through fire, fog, and storm.
All the time you were with me
Gently by my side.
Now I am balanced
Forged strong and pure
Able to sense you
In darkness and in light.
Life still has struggles
Love, work, and faith.
At times I still stumble
Even fall.
But I always rise again.
Now I am balanced
And I thank God for that.
