Poem: Sea Of Pain

The darkness is closing in
I struggle to stay afloat
Swimming in the sea of my pain.
Storm waters rising high
Lightning fills the sky.
She cries:
“Hold on, love!
Go with the flow,
You can do more than you know.
Though it doesn’t seem so,
The skies will clear
The sun will shine
The sea will calm.
And you will see then
The glory of love.”
Peace fills me then.
Though the storm rages
I trust in Her words.
I go with the flow
I swim through the sea.
Though the storm blinds me
I’m guided true
To seas where skies are blue.
