Poem: See Clearly

I look around me.
I see
So much judging wrongly
Seeing only skin deep
Feeling only hate.
Seeing only awkwardness
Feeling only annoyance.
I want to shout
I want to shake
I want
To make them all see.
Deep breath.
Reach for calm
Pray for serenity.
I say it now
I say it loud.
If you want
To avoid someone
If you hate them
If you dislike them
Instead do this.
A challenge
Simple but strong
Become their friend.
Only love
Can drive out hate.
Only love
Can open our eyes.
Let us
See clearly.
