Poem: Time To Bide

What do you do
Oh, what to do
When all choices seem wrong
When all roads seem troubled
When all lines are blurred
And darkness clouds your vision
Oh, I cry out
In desperate hope
For someone to shine a light
“Free me from my chains”
I plead
“I wish to cause no harm
What can I do
To bring healing and light
Please Lord, tell me what to do”
And the Lord answers me
“My child, do not despair
When all paths seem dark
It is not time to act
It is time to bide
Wait until clarity comes
Then shine your light
Bright as a new sun.”
