With loneliness.
The pain
A constant reminder
Of what I don’t have.
Reluctantly
I conclude
I must let her go.
To love someone
So much
That you are willing
To let them go
Takes strength
Most will never know.
To do it again
Again and again
Takes strength
Beyond imagining.
I know
Lord
The choices I have made.
