Poem: Stormy Seas

I’ve been sailing stormy seas of late
No shore on the horizon.
Clouds block the stars at night
Winds howl during day
I find my way by feel alone.
Some days are good
Some days are bad.
My balance shakes and wobbles
Some say my cause is lost
Some think my ship not sturdy .
I hold to hope
I know what they do not.
I may not reach
The port I planned for
Yet with the Spirit guiding me
Providing strength and comfort
I’ll end up where I’m meant to.
